Technical Details

I acquired my Singing Rock anchor brake from Tom Furey in 2012.

My Singing Rock is 48 mm. long, 90 mm. wide, 9 mm. thick, and weighs 52 g. The Singing Rock is a forged aluminum anchor brake. The five small holes are each 12 mm. in diameter. The large hole facilitates attaching this brake to webbing.

The front is stamped "Singing Rock CE 0639" and "0599." The rear is stamped "USE ROPE | UIAA ø10.4" with a circle around the "|."

Comments

The Singing Rock is essentially the same as the Climbing Technology and the braking portion of the Mammut Klettersteig.

Hundreds of cell phone users complained and asked me to for a simpler, mobile friendly site. In particular, they wanted me to limit each page to a small number of pictures and minimize my use of text. This new site provides what they asked for.
