My classification of eccentric cam types is convenient but admittedly somewhat arbitrary. Rather than try to explain it solely in words, I'll provide this chart of typical examples:
| Class | Examples |
|---|---|
| Plate | |
| Drilled Plate | |
| Perforated Plate | |
| Open | No web, etc. inside the cam. |
| Semi-open | One smaller opening, no thin web. |
| Open-web | Minimal web inside the cam. |
| Asymmetrical Open-web |
Back side of cam is angled. |
| Semi-open Web |
More substantial web but with only one opening. |
| Semi-web | Multiple holes in the web. |
| Web | |
| Braced | |
| Drooped | Hybrid | More complex combinations. |

Hundreds of cell phone users complained and asked me to for a simpler, mobile friendly site. In particular, they wanted me to limit each page to a small number of pictures and minimize my use of text. This new site provides what they asked for.
