I acquired my this eight on eBay from David Jones in 2014.
The Unknown #2 is milled from aluminum plate. Mine is 167 mm. tall, 81 mm. wide, and 16 mm. thick. The rope hole is 51 mm. high and 51 mm. wide. The top center thickness is 16 mm. The shaft length and width are 66 mm. and 23 mm., respectively. The eye measures 19 mm. by 19 mm. My eight weighs 209 g.
The only markings on this eight are David Jones’ initials "DJ" stamped on one side of the eight.
This is another large milled plate eight. I do not know the origin of this eight. It may be home made in a well-equipped shop, or it may be commercial. The construction matches the Supra, but the dimensions more closely match the large Clog eights.
This eight is too heavy for my taste. The eye is too narrow to accept two full size locking carabiners.
For far more content, use a larger monitor and a full-width window.
