I acquired this Battelle Memorial Institute cable ladder fromthe NSS Consignbment Sales/Benjamin D Brown at the 2025 NSS COnvention.
This ladder is 10.6 m. long with 34 aluminum rungs spaced 305 mm. apart. Each rung is 153 mm. long and 19.5(h) x 13(w) mm. ribbed mm. in diameter with a 1.8 mm. wall thickness. The cable is 3.3 mm.stainless steel. The rungs are secured by top and bottom crimps. The eyes are crimped with eye protectors.
There are no markings on the ladder.
The rungs are black anodized extruded aluminum with ribs for traction. They have an oval corss section alighed vertically for increased strength against bending.
These are the nicest cable ladders I've seen. My primary criticism is that they did not come with Brummel Hooks for connecting ladders together..
Battelle Memorial Institute made these ladders in several lengths for the U. S. GOvernment in 2016. Mine was completed and inspected on August 17 of that year.
For far more content, use a larger monitor and a full-width window.
