- Made in Switzerland [1970s].
- These are set up as two 3-step étriers, each with Salewa fiffi hooks and recovery cords.
- Flat, smooth step is somewhat slippery.
- No markings.
- Tied webbing aiders replaced hard-step European étriers in the USA by the 1960s. Sewn versions came later.
- Virtually identical to Salewa #281, suggesting a common source.
