• Made in Wales [1970s].
• Fiberglass Shaft.
• Shaft: 35x24 mm.
• Fixed head with carabiner hole.
• Curved adze with scalloped edge.
• Adze: 80(l)x64(w)x3(curve) mm.
• Curved Alpine pick with a negative-clearance chisel tip and with 5 ventral teeth near the tip and 2 more near the shaft.
• Pick: 145(l)x26(h)x7(t) mm.
• Round spike.
• Spike: 65(l)x13(d) mm.
• A heavy British axe that works well on waterfalls.
• The grip has a rounded rectanfular profile rather than the more traditional oval shape.
• The Curver Axe was one of the few British made ice-axes.
• Snowdon Mouldings used imported axe heads and bent them into a steep curve.
