↑ 006: Chouinard/Salewa Rigid
- Made in West Germany [ca. 1975].
- Rigid, Adjustable width, 12–point, Strap–on binding.
- These were my first crampons. I used them extensively in the White Mountains with rigid-sole Technica IV boots.
- Curved forward-facing front points are an improvement over the slanted points of #011 when used on steep ice.
- Made by Salewa for Chouinard.
