• Straight adze with a straight edge and a moderate arch.

• Angled alpine pick with a negative-clearance chisel tip and with 7 ventral teeth.
• Pick: 160(l)x32(h)x9(t) mm.
• Triangular spike.
• Spike: 71(l)x17(w)x11(t) mm.
• The tip of the pick and blade, as well as the tip of the spike, is finished without rounding the corners. This incorporates the idea of an armor–piercing warhead.
• The adze–side finger is engraved with "昭和五十七年四月十七日quot (April 17, 1982) and with the serial number "一・六六" (1.661).
• The pick–side finger is engraved with "三州猿投山麓住 善則" (Yoshinori, living at the foot of Mt. Sanage in Sanshu).
• This is Futamura’s flagship model. It was in continuous production since orders first began in 1963 until operations ceased.
• Mr. Futamura no longer produces ice axes. He lost his blacksmithing tools in a fire sometime around 2005–2015.

• Straight adze with a straight edge and no arch.
• Adze: 70(l)x76(w)x0(arch) mm.
• Curved fluted alpine pick with a negative-clearance chisel tip and with 5 ventral teeth.
• Pick: 150(l)x30(h)x6(t) mm.
• Triangular spike.
• Spike: 51(l)x25(w)x11(t) mm.
• The flat face beneath the base of the adze allows hammering the pick into the ice while reducing the chance of damaging one's gloves on the adze.
• The adze–side finger is engraved with "坂本" (Sakamoto), likely the originals owner, and with the serial number "七六五" (765).
• The pick–side finger is engraved with "三州猿投山麓住 二村善則" (Sanshu Sanage foothills – Yoshinori Futamura).
• Japanese climber Tsuneo Hasegawa [1947–1991] asked Nimura to produce the ice axe he had designed. The Hasegawa model was then sold to the general public.
• Mr. Futamura no longer produces ice axes. He lost his blacksmithing tools in a fire sometime around 2005–2015.
