Iwai Shinzo founded exercise equipment manufacturing wholesaler Masushin Shoten in 1923. They started making mountaineering equipment and using the name "EverNew" in the 1950s. The company changed its name to EverNew, Inc. in 1965. They now focus on traditional cookers and tableware, but continues to manufacture, import, and sell mountaineering equipment.
